Purpose

Hello and welcome to Blog for the Cheap,

My name is Shawna and I am going to explain the existence of this blog to you.

I am a creative, generally broke, college student. I live in a very very old apartment complex. Think 70's gold/dark brown wood kitchen with vomit yellow bathroom.

When we moved in I had to take a step back and think, ok how I can I make this place look great on a budget.

I tell you it took alot of contemplating but it's slowly improving. I have found great deals, and good crafty ideas that cost mere dollars but make a huge impact.

So that is where this blog comes in. I know there are tons of people like me who don't have $100's to spend but want a nice place to live, or are just cheap.
